 Established in the mid 70’s astute (formerly A&A Slinger) started manufacturing rubber stamps for the office supplies industry in the north east of Scotland. In the early years it became apparent that the only way to succeed in this sector was to offer the best service possible at affordable prices. These fundamental aspects are what the success of our business has been built on to this day.
We are still one of the few manufacturers of rubber stamps in the United Kingdom but our core business has developed into new sectors, enabling us to become one of the market leaders in the North East.
Graphic Designer
We require a Trainee Apple Mac/Graphic Designer to join our busy team of enthusiastic, creative designers in a friendly, modern printers.
You will be involved in the design of printed marketing materials for our high profile clients based in and around the North East of Scotland.
Key Skills: A good working knowledge of Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. A basic knowledge of web based packages
would be a distinct advantage. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills are essential.
Key Duties: Amending existing artwork using basic design and layout skills, production of finished artwork ready for
printing.
Experience: A Graphics background is required. The ideal candidate should be educated to a minimum of HNC level with experience in a printing environment preferable.
